July 2024

Padma Charitable Trustin collaboration with UST Global, inaugurated a tutoring program aimed at providing one year of tuition support to underprivileged students from Puthenpadam-Parathode, Thottam colony, and Kottakurissi areas in Kollangode, Palakkad district. During the ceremony, educational materials were distributed to the students, marking the commencement of the year-long tutoring program.

Padma Charitable Trust , in collaboration with EQS Web Technologies Pvt Ltd, , organized a distribution event for educational materials in the Palakkad district. The event was held to support local students by providing them with necessary study materials.

Free Ayurveda Medical Camp at Kizhakkenchery NSS Karayogam Mandiram Padma Charitable Trust and InApp Information Technologies(india) Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with Chittilanchery Amrita Kripa Narayana Ayurveda Chikistsalayam, conducted a free medical camp at Kizhakkenchery NSS Karayogam Mandiram.

As part of Padma Charitable Trust's Snehaveed@2023 project, with the support of Manappuram Foundation, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Snehaveed to be built by Murukan in the colony was performed on 30.01.2023 at 10.30 as the first part of the construction of houses for 30 families in Kollangode, Puthanpadam Colony to realize their dream of having their own home. Padma Charitable Trust is conducting anti-drug awareness classes for children and medical camps for patients in Puthanpadam Colony.
Under the leadership of Padma Charitable Trust free spinal and knee surgeries (costing around 2 to 2.6 lakhs per surgery) were provided to 10 needy people from various districts of kerala, through KIMS Hospital Kottayam. Padma Charitable Trust in sponsor with Malayali Association Johur, Malaysia distributed the May month consisting of all the necessary food items in the parts of Vadakkancherry, Kizhakkancherry and Kannanbra from the district of Palakkad.

Padma Charitable Trust is extremely happy to be a part in the distribution of 'Covid - 19 Project Fund' organised by the SDA Hospital, Ottapalam, Palakkad. The main focus of this project is to treat the covid patients free of cost. The funds are also used for necessary considerations from the nurses as they are a major strength at the present times.

With the surfacing of Covid-19 Pandemic, education has been greatly affected by converting the teaching pattern from face to face learning to E- Learning, thereafter causing hindrances to the students from different places.

Padma Charitable Trust in association with Clap Charity, USA distributed Televisions to the students of most in need. The event was inaugurated by Ex Minister V.C. Kabir.

Padma Charitable Trust in association with Clap Charity U.S.A distributed Television to Lakshidha and Rohith, children of Santhosh and Rehana. The Amrithakripa Director, Dr Gokul Narayanan inaugurated the function by distributing the T.V.

Padma Charitable Trust in association with Clap Charity USA and Police distributed smartphone to Aradya, studyingin grade 1 from Vadakkancherry, daughter of Manoj and Sandhya who found it difficult to attend the online classes during this Pandemic. Vadakkancherry CI Santhosh did the honours of the distribution. Shimuls, Kaashi Vishwanathan, K.S. Ponmala, Simdhu, Melbin Varghese and Baiju also attended the same.

Padma Charitable Trust conducted two events as part of *World Environment Day* in which one took place in Vadakkancherry, inaugurated by Mr. VC Kabeer and in Alathur, Ariyamur inaugurated by Ex AP Vijayaraghavan. KS Ponmala and Baiju were others who participated for the same.

Padma Charitable Trust offered goats to Mary in Thipanur who is disabled, for a source of income. Padma Charitable Trust also distributed library books to a well known Reading Club and Mother Theresa School as a remembrance of P.N.Panicker who is Father of library Movement in Kerala. The distribution was done by K.E. Ismael ( Ex Minister).

Padma Charitable Trust offered goats to Ganesh who is a Kidney patient from Vadakencherry Konancherry for a source of steady income. The goat was given by Dr Ajith Kumar.

Padma Charitable Trust with the help of Manoj who is a environmentalist distributed 1000 organic plant saplings to the people of Kodugaloor. A seminar was also provided to the people enlightening the importance of clean environment and afforestation.

Padma Charitable Trust distributed the monthly kits to the most deserving candidates in Vadakencherry, Kizhakkancherry, Puthukode, Alathur, Koduvayur, Nemmara ( district of Palakkad).

In this holy month of Ramadan, Padma Charitable Trust distributed the Ramadan kits.

Padma Charitable Trust provided a training for Disaster Management to the youths of around 100 people in kadungalloor (Ernakulam) The program was inaugurated by Sub - inspector Sree Sudhir Nair. The training was conducted by Fire and Safty Officer Sree Surendha Nair.

K. Higher Secondary School (Chira Mannapra, Palakkad).

Padma Charitable Trust distributed library books and plant saplings to the students of Kanichikulangara school, Alapuzha, Cherthala Girls School, Alapuzha and Ariyaparambu School, Alapuzha

Padma Charitable Trust in association with G-Tech inculcated a Self Employment plan to the 75 families in Aluwa who were mostly affected by the Kerala Floods. The trust provided various essential income providing items like cow, vehicle, tailoring machine, etc to the most deserving candidates.

Padma Charitable Trust celebrated Christmas 2019 with the Nutrition Centre in Annamada, Chalakudy by distributing tailoring machine for the purpose of their children. Padma Charitable Trust also provided financial aid to the people with health problems.


October 2019

Trust conducted a tree plantation event in Chethi Beach and Govt L P School Poklasseri, Cherthala, Alapuzha on 14 th October 2019.


September 2019

Onam is the festival in the state of Kerala. On this auspicious occasion, Padma Charitable Trust celebrated with the most innocent people of Vadakkencherry,Kizhakkencherry and Kambra by distributing the special Onam kits(containing Food products and dresses) on 11 th September 2019.


August 2019

1)Padma Charitable Trust distributed the kits (Food products) to most deserving elderly people of Palakkad on 17 th August 2019.

2)The state of Kerala had again experienced the disaster of flood. Torrential rains, gusty winds and landslips left a trail of destruction.Trust distributed special kits consisting of water food materials and essential items to the part of Nilambur, district of Malapuram who were affected by the Kerala Floods on 18 th August 2019.


July 2019

Padma Charitable Trust organised an event in C.U.A.P School, Mambadu which aimed at providing financial assistance to patients with financial difficulties. Special appreciation was given to the talented coaches and players from International, National and State level. A special mention and ton of appreciation was given to students who scored well for SSLC and +2. The major highlight of the event was the distribution of plant saplings to all who participated for the same. The event was inaugurated by Shangara Narayanan on 28 th July 2019. The Chief guest was Shruthy Menon.


June 2019

1)Padma Charitable Trust organised an event at Alapuzha Devamatha HSS, Chenamkara which was inaugurated on 11th June 2019 by cine artist Anish Ravi and fashion choreographer Dalu Krishnadas.

The following events took place:-
1. Students from 10th and 12th grade, who scored well for their board exams were appreciated.
2. Study kits was distributed to the students.
3. Financial assistance was given to the people who were affected by the Kerala Floods.

2) Padma Charitable Trust also distributed plant saplings to the students of C.U.A.P Mambadu School on 20th June 2019. The plant saplings were planted around the school by the students. V. C Kabeer (Pre Minister), Bayju Vadakapuram ( Janananma President ) inaugurated and attended the event.

Padma Charitable Trust distributed the kits for the month of June. The distribution was done to the most desired people.


May 2019

1) Padma Charitable Trust gave financial assistance to the priest of Irumbupalam church, Idukki for renovation at church and also to a poor family whose bread winner is physically illed at Nelikuzhi, Kothamangalam as their house was destroyed in the Kerala Floods.
2) Fund was provided to the people of Chenganuur, Pandannad, Edanaad, Mangala and Vazhar who were affected by the Kerala Floods on 25 th May 2019.
3)Trust welcomes Tuna Bastin and Sajna Ali who travelled 10000 kilometres in 20 days to educate and spread the awareness of blood donation in the state of Kerala on 22nd May 2019.
4)Trust also appreciated the Soft Hockey junior team who played in Punjab and won silver medal for the same on 22 nd May 2019.

March 2019

"Books serve to show a man that those original thoughts of his aren’t very new after all"–Abraham Lincoln. Padma Charitable Trust donated library books to C.A.U.P School, Mambadu on 26th March 2019.

Padma Charitable Trust contributed numerous books of all genres to the Thripanoor School library situated in Alathur, Vadakencherry area in the district of Palakkd as a part of student development and knowledge building on 27th March 2019. Trust also distributed kits which also included cloths to Parathod Colony(Tribal colony in Palakkad)with the help of Mr. Hari Krishnan from Pathanamthitta in remembrance of his brother late Mr. Murali Krishnan on 19 th March 2019. The programme was accompanied by their family.


January 2019

Padma Charitable Trust conducted kit distribution of all the essential and necessary items to the people of Vadakkencherry, Kizhakkencherry in need.

Padma Charitable Trust organised a grand event with chief guest Pearlie Maa ny in Coperative Society Auditorium Kadangalur, Aluwa on 10 th January 2019. It was inaugurated by Aljoe Joseph (M.D of Orma marbles). Distribution of cash to 50 families who were affected by the Kerala floods and distribution of trophies and cash awards to the fishermen for their courageous and outstanding efforts portrayed by them at the time of the natural disaster were the two major agenda of the day.


December 2018

Trust celebrated Christmas by Distribution of Christmas kits (Food products and cakes) to 30 families of Kizhakkencherry-Vadakkencherry on 20 th December 2018.

Trust on 28th December 2019 contributed financial assistance to those people affected in Kerala floods in the parts of Kuttanad and Aluva.


November 2018

November 2nd : Padma Charitable Trust distributed cheques to many families who resides in various places of Palakkad, Aluva, Idukki, Alapuzha where the floods was affected.

November 23rd : Padma Charitable Trust in association with Clap charity and Kairali conducted an event in Nedumudi, Alapuzha (Chambakulam, Chembempuram, Thachatuchara colony) distributed kits to around 100 people and 40 students were provided with all the necessary items concerning their education. 13 families were also provided with financial assistance for their houses destroyed in Kerala floods. MLA Sunil Kumar was present for the event.

November 26th : Padma Charitable Trust distributed kits to people in Kollankode and Parathod colonies of Palakkad district. MD of Orma marbles was present for the same.


October 2018

Padma Charitable Trust, conducted a programme on 15 October 2018 in which 3 computers were distributed to Annamada Vivekanandha School, Chalakudy which was destroyed in the Kerala floods. Padma Charitable Trust also distributed 10 cows to those who lost them in the same disaster. The programme was extended to provide financial aid to 7 people for rebuilding their homes which was destroyed.


September 2018

1)Padma Charitable Trust distributed all kinds of necessary items to people in Cherthala, Kanichukulangara Relief Camp. The distribution was continued for two days (14-9-2018 & 15-9-2018 and held in a house near S.N. Puram water tank.

2)Trust also distributed items such as water, vessels, food items, clothes, etc to the people affected by the Kerala floods situated in Kuttamangalam, Venattukkara, Cherangiri, Kainagiri ( District of Alapuzha )on 6th september 2018.

Padma Charitable Trust is overwelmed to appreciate more than 50 fishermen of Cherthala, Mararikulam (District of Alapuzha) for the unconditional services put forward by each of them. They are the real heroes. As a token of appreciation, kits were distributed consisting of necessary items. It programme was conducted on 6 th September 2018.

Trust distributed necessary items such as water, clean vessels, clothes, etc to the people of Vaikkkam and Kumarakam (District of Alapuzha) who have been affected by the Kerala floods on 7 th September 2018.

Food kits were also distributed in the areas kizhakkencherry and vadakkencherry.

1)Padma Charitable Trust conducted a medical camp on 28th July, 2018 in C. A. U. P School, Mampad. Retired High Court Chief Justice, Mr. Krishnan was the chief guest. Nearly 200 people took part for the event. Free cataractics surgery was given to 30 patients. Spectacles were given at discount of almost 1000 Rs.

2)Trust is proud to fulfill a dream of Yamuna which was to see the renowned playback singer K.S Chitra. Yamuna is suffering from cerebral palsy. Anushree .S had gifted Chitra a beautiful painting. Yamuna and Anushree are from kizhakkencherry, Palakkad district.


June 2018

Padma Charitable Trust dedicated the month of June 2018 to the school going children as it was time to get back to school. Items such as books and bags was distributed in Thripanur school and students from another school on 6 th June 2018. Plant saplings was also distributed to the students.


May 2018

Trust inculcated the activities of distribution of food kits and plant saplings to the people in the month of May 2018. As it was at the time of Ramadan, food kits were distributed with special reference to Muslims.

February 2018

Aiming at the bright future of the next generation, Padma Charitable Trust conducted a Civil Service Exam Seminar on 2nd February 2018 at SN College Alathur, Palakkad. The programme was inaugurated by shri K A Chandran (Ex MLA), Dr.Sherin (IAAS) was the chief guests for the programme and The training was done by shamjith (faculty of ponani IAS coaching center).The programme ended by the participation of whole students in the college and outside.


January 2018

Padma Charitable Trust organized Medical Camp and distributed free medicines on 13.01.2018 at, Thrippannur School, Kizhakkancherry. Shri S Vijayan, the Additional District Magistrate of Palakkad inaugurated the programme. Dr S. Ajayakumar (pediatrician), Dr Gesemma (Gynecologist)Dr. Gireesh(Medical Officer) Smt. Smitha Susan (pharmacist)were the doctor for Examination and distribution of medicines was done by them. Nearly 400 people from various parts of Kizhakancherry and Vadakkancherry panchayat took part in the event.

Padma Charitable Trust donated water tank to Kollamkode, Parathod colony as they find difficult of storage of drinking water. Water tank was donated on January 18th, 2018. Food kit was also distrubuted to nearly 20 families in the colony. Shri. Vijoy Palamady (President of Clap Charity) and Mr. Johnson (Vice President of Clap Charity) were the chief guests of the programme.

December 2017

Aiming at a good health, Padma Charitable Trust organised a Medical Camp and distributed medicines for free in Kollengode parathode Tribal Colony on 9th December 2017.The camp was inaugurated by Shri.Vijayan, Additional District Magistrate, Palakkad. The doctor consulting the patients was Mr Ajay from the Alathur Thaluk Hospital. Services were rented to all members in colony. It was indeed our pleasure to take that opportunity of giving the service.

Next generation is the promise of today and in order to shape the future ambitions of college students, Padma Charitable Trust conducted a career orientation programme focusing on Civil Service on 8th December 2017 at IHRD College Vadakkencherry, Palakkad. The program was inaugurated by K.E Ismail (Ex-MP), and V.C Kabeer (Ex-minister). The training was done by P.R.Manoj (Triune IAS Academy, Cochin).The programme ended by the participation of whole students in the college.

Trust celebrated Christmas with the childern at Thripanoor UP School on 22th December 2017 and at Prathod colony 25th December 2017. Rice,cakes and financial help were given to widows,kidney patients and heart patients.

October 2017

Padma Charitable Trust adopted Parathod, Puthenpadam Tribal colony on 27th October 2017.Rice and grocery items were distributed by Mr.John Cherussery (Tresurer,CLAP Charity) to all the families in the colony.

September 2017

Padma Charitable Trust celebrated the month of onam with people of kadappara colony. It was organised on 2 nd September 2017. The chief guests included VC Kabeer (ex-minister), Mr Alex jose (nominated for noble prize). Patron-Ks Ponmala. Food kit was distributed to the families of colony. People enjoyed it with fun and laughter.

June 2017

Padma Charitable Trust initiated an event for congratulating students of the 10 th and 12 th pass outs who scored well in their board examination which is an important part of their career life and also to distribute books, bags and instruments for poor students of kizhakencherry-vadakencherry panchayat on 8 th june 2017 at Tripanur school, Palakkad. Nearly 15 students were awarded a the programme.

April 2017

Padma charitable trust had organised a program for vishu on April 14,2017. All families at the colony were given a vishu kit. Majority of them were paid labourers and farmers, so agricultural equipment’s and plantains were distributed. Food products and sweets were also given as part of vishu celebration. A small gathering thereafter was arranged along with members of the trust in order to discuss their difficulties.
