Padma Charitable Trustin collaboration with UST Global, inaugurated a tutoring program aimed at providing one year of tuition support to underprivileged students from Puthenpadam-Parathode, Thottam colony, and Kottakurissi areas in Kollangode, Palakkad district. During the ceremony, educational materials were distributed to the students, marking the commencement of the year-long tutoring program.

Medical Camp - Under the leadership of Padma Charitable Trust strong second round of free spinal & knee surgeries (costing around 2 to 2.6 lakhs per surgery) were provided to 10 needy people from various districts of Kerala, through KIMS Hospital Kottayam.

As part of Padma Charitable Trust's Snehaveed@2023 project, with the support of Manappuram Foundation, the foundation stone laying ceremony of the Snehaveed to be built by Murukan in the colony was performed on 30.01.2023 at 10.30 as the first part of the construction of houses for 30 families in Kollangode, Puthanpadam Colony to realize their dream of having their own home. Padma Charitable Trust is conducting anti-drug awareness classes for children and medical camps for patients in Puthanpadam Colony.

Padma Charitable Trust, Kairali of Baltimore (USA) and Clap Charity (USA), Jointly distributed Onam kit to the people of tribal colonies at Kollenkot, Parathote and Putthanpadam in Palakkad district.
Onam kit was distributed under the leadership of Padma Charitable Trust to the needy patients and elderly people of Kannambara, Vadakancherry, Eastancherry, Mudapallur and near by places. The financial assistance was made by Dr. Ajayakumar, Ashik - Qatar, Akhil Kottayam, Prasad - Mariapadam Ashoka USA and others.

Onamkit was distributed under the leadership of Padma Charitable Trust to the transgenders at West NSS Hall, Thrissur. Harikrishnan Namboothiri, a native of Aranmula, was the sponsor of this programme in memory of his brother Murali Krishna.

Padma Charitable Trust and Clap Charity organized a free eye check-up camp on 04/06/2022 at SNDP Higher Secondary School, Palissery on Saturday 04/06/2022 from 9 am to 1 pm under the auspices of Palissery Student Police Cadet under the leadership of Ahilya Foundation Eye Hospital.The camp has been of great benefit to children suffering from eye disorders and visually impaired due to cataracts due to excessive use of digital devices as part of learning activities during the Corona period .

The event was inaugurated by Hon: Kodungallur MLA Adv. V R Sunilkumar. Annamanada Panchayat President Shri. P V Vinod was the chief guest. Clap Charity Founding Member Shri. Vijay Pattammadi had a special presence .

APRIL 2022

Padma Charitable Trust has provided a helping hand to the Pathanpadam Colony, Parathodu, Kolamkoode (Palakkad) on April 6th. In the current scenario of religious and casts divisions, the people of the colony are hindered by even the basic necessities of life. A representative of the BJP party, Mr Kumanam Rajashegharan along with his co workers had visited the colony. Mr. Krishnakumar (BJP General Secretary) and K.S. Radhakrishnan (BJP Vice President) were also present for the visit.
